March 9, 2021: Pakistan’s beautiful tourist destination Gilgit-Baltistan’s Diamer district’s “Soot Das” area of the 9-day colorful festival ended today.

The closing ceremony was attended by Force Commander Gilgit-Baltistan, Vice Chancellor Karakoram International University, former caretaker Minister Inayatullah Shamali, festival organizer Dr Muhammad Zaman, local elders and other Seoul and military officials. The Force Commander distributed prizes to the teams that performed outstandingly.

While polo, dunkie race, cricket, volleyball, football and paragliding competitions were held at the festival, for the convenience of the people, the Pakistan Army, in collaboration with the Diamer District administration and medical staff, organized a nine-day long free medical camp at Sut Das.

Also did Free medical aid was provided to 3570 different types of patients in the camp. The patients included 396 children and 3174 general patients. Free medicines were also distributed to the needy people of the area۔
