The citizens of Diamer in other cities of the country are protesting against the call of the Graduate Alliance. Citizens of Gilgit-Baltistan based in Chilas, Gilgit, Abbottabad, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi have protested against WAPDA.
Protesters marched from DC Chowk Chilas to WAPDA office. Protesters organized by the Graduate Alliance Diamer have staged a sit-in outside the WAPDA office.
Graduate Alliance Diamer demands that full priority be given to locally educated youth in the Diamer Bhasha Dam project. Recruit 100% Diamer local youth from Grade 1 to Grade 16. Special preference should be given to Diamer and Gilgit-Baltistan in jobs above grade 16.
