Skardu highway closed due to landslides. Landslide area is up to 40 meters. A large part of the highway has also collapsed due to landslides.
The district administration of Gilgit and Skardu has been informed about the landslide. The administration has also instructed not to travel on Skardu Highway. Food and milk have been delivered to the stranded passengers and children by the FWO.

FWO ‘s Soldiers provided food to the passengers stranded due to the landslide . A temporary medical camp has also been set up near the sliding area for the convenience of the people. Officials say efforts are being made to open the road as soon as possible despite the difficult situation.
Skardu highway is closed this morning due to landslides. 40 to 45 meters of road at Skardu highway has been affected by landslides. The administration has instructed to avoid unnecessary travel on the highway.
